4. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS & AGREEMENT

 

By sending this email, I confirm that I have read and accepted the Sguardo Lento Terms of Service, specifically:

  • Nature of the Retreat: I understand this is a perceptual "reboot" and not a traditional instructional workshop.

  • Booking & Payment: I understand that my spot is secured only upon receipt of the €4,000 participation fee, which serves as a formal caparra confirmatoria (confirmation deposit). This payment is processed through our designated tour operator, who handles all financial transactions and provides mandatory insurance and civil liability coverage for the retreat as required by law.

  • Flight Policy & Responsibility: I agree not to book any flights until I receive official group confirmation from the organizers (no later than two months before the retreat). I acknowledge that the organizers and staff are not responsible for my flights, layovers, lost luggage, or any travel complications. Any assistance or support provided by the staff to help resolve flight-related issues is offered strictly on a voluntary, supportive basis (out of solidarity) and does not constitute any legal liability or responsibility on their part

  • Cancellation Tier 1 (60+ days): I am entitled to a 100% refund if I cancel before the group is officially confirmed (60 days out).

  • Cancellation Tier 2 (30-60 days): After group confirmation, the €900 villa quota is strictly non-refundable.

  • Cancellation Tier 3 (<30 days): Cancellations made 30 days or less before the start date are 100% non-refundable.

  • Accommodation: I understand that the Residence room assignments are made by staff based on logistics. No advance room selection is possible.

  • Liability Waiver: I release Sguardo Lento Experience and its directors from liability for injury, loss, or damage during the retreat and travel.

  • Media Release: I authorize the use of my likeness in photos/videos for promotional purposes.

  • Governing Law: This contract is governed by the laws of Italy, with jurisdiction in the courts of Siena.
